How do I use an interdental brush?

An interdental brush is a handle with a small, disposable head attached to the end. The small head has bristles that are specially designed to clean the gaps in between the teeth. To use an interdental brush you simply push and pull the brush gently between the teeth in the same up and down motion that you would with floss, loosening and clearing the plaque and trapped food particles that have become lodged. As with floss, you repeat this action between every pair of teeth, rinsing the brush at intervals to avoid spreading bacteria around the mouth. Finish by rinsing the mouth out with water or mouthwash to clear away any remaining debris.
