TePe Proximal Brush

Unlike the TePe Interdental Brushes the TePe Proximal Brush is long handled, which for some makes cleaning teeth easier and more comfortable. The brush is most effective at cleaning between the posterior teeth and the palatal and lingual sites in the mouth. The brush is also designed with a choice of 2 different angles to help improve access to the teeth.

As with the traditional Interdental Brushes, each Proximal Brush tip is colour coded with similar sizes ranging from 0.5mm to 1.1mm. The tips are also replaceable. As well as 5 different tip sizes, the proximal brush is ergonomically designed for comfortable handling. The tips are also easily replaced using a snap-in lock mechanism.

The TePe Proximal Brush is most effective by using the correct size tip for each interdental space. Different sizes should to be used for different spaces. Your dentist should be able to help.

Rather than using toothpaste which contains abrasives, it is better to use a gel such as the TePe Interdental Gel with Flouride, which is especially formulated for cleaning between teeth. The Proximal Brush should be used at least once a day and the tips changed regularly.
