These work in a similar way to the Thornton 3 in 1 Floss, but the Thornton Bridge & Implant Cleaners only have two component parts. The strong, thin nylon ends are still there, to help you feed the interproximal brush into place, but the spongy ‘toothbrush’ section is much thicker to help clean around and under dental implants, bridges and serious orthodontic equipment.
The nylon feeder strands have also been strengthened, so they can support the more heavy duty cleaning that will need to be done with this brand of dental floss. The spongy section is 12 cm in length, giving the user plenty of scope for cleaning the surface of the teeth and around the gum line, removing plaque and pieces of food.
The entire length of each interproximal toothbrush is 25 cm and this brand comes in easy-to-use dispenser boxes or travel bags, containing 30 pre-cut strands. Again, you can choose from either mint or unflavoured floss.
